Our products and services include complete engine, transmission and generator overhauls, routine repairs, preventative maintenance, MAN warranty and commissioning, engine surveys and failure analysis. Our customers include pleasure yachts, commercial vessels and government boats.

President Adolfo Scarano holds a degree in marine engineering. After sailing as chief engineer aboard transatlantic cargo ships for the Merchant Navy, he took his knowledge of commercial vessels into the world of pleasure yachts. After working 20 years for MTU distributor, 5 as service manager, he would come to learn the business from the wrenches to the office. He was trained and certified at MTU factory headquarters in Friedrichshafen, Germany and Detroit Diesel factory headquarters in Detroit, Michigan.

Wanting to provide a more personal customer oriented service; he decided to open Scarano Marine where customer satisfaction, consistency and honesty always come first. Now after more than 30 years in this industry, he and the team at Scarano Marine continue striving for excellence in delivering premier service at a competitive price time after time.
